Sujit Choudhry Discusses the Various Constitutional Effects on Human Rights.

The group achieves this by gathering various experts take part in a thematic research project with the aim of providing evidence based laws to practitioners. To date, the organization has contacted over 50 experts drawn from over 25 nations across the globe. The organization partners with various multilateral organizations, NGOs, and prominent think tanks in the world. In July this year, Professor Choudhry addressed a group of constitutional experts on the semi-presidential system that has been adopted by the Ukraine government. He engaged the experts on the instability in this form of administration and the possible ways to remedy the situation.

Professor Choudhry is currently involved in three global research projects. The collaborative research topics focus more on Terrorism threats and their effects on various constitutional transition across the world, as well protection of fundamental human rights from an authoritarian and partisan rule. These research projects are expected to yield some policies that will be published later in the year. Professor Sujit Choudhry has worked as a consultant to the World Bank Institute at the UN Development Program.

Among the issues that Professor Choudhry addresses include constitutional design and how it can be used to transition from violent to peaceful politics. He sees an inherent design as a way of upholding various fundamental human rights.
