Sujit Choudhry – Global Constitutional Peacekeeper

Sujit Choudhry is the founding director of The Center for Constitutional Transitions. He is an expert in constitutional law which is why he was invited to Kiev, Ukraine in July 2017. Mr. Choudhry and other constitutional scholars led workshop discussions regarding Ukraine’s struggle in its governmental standing since communication was abolished. The Center for Constitutional Transitions hopes to help countries like Ukraine to set-up a form of democratic system of government.

Mr. Sujit Choudhry is an Indian-American professor, expert, and international leader in constitutional law and politics. He is a Professor Law at the University of California at Berkeley Law School. In his earlier legal career, he was a law clerk to a chief justice in the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to Kiev, The Center for Constitutional Transitions has led and is currently leading collaborative projects around the world.

As the Transitions Center’s leader, Professor Choudhry assembles think tank experts, multilateral organizations, and NGO experts in policy-based fields. This team of senior policy practitioners and scholars partner in their diverse work around the globe in organized workshops, conferences, and research concepts affecting countries trying to establish a constitutional government.

Sujit Choudhry is a published author on many acclaimed articles, reports, papers, and books.
